An unrenovated Kyo-machiya on the north side of Karasuma Oike, about 9 minutes on foot from subway "Karasuma Oike" Station. Karasuma Oike Station is where the Karasuma Line and Tozai Line cross, making it easy to access both the north-south and east-west of Kyoto city.

Main roads and bus stops are also nearby, and if you use the subway, you can easily transfer to JR Kyoto, Nara and Hankyu Kyoto lines. It is a convenient area that is easy to reach other prefectures such as Osaka, Shiga and Nara.
