Design//Kazuya Morita Architecture Studio

World Heritage Silver Pavilion(Jishoji Temple)

The official name is called Jishoji Ginkaku. The 8th Muromachi Shogunate "Ashikaga Yoshimasa" built it as a mountain villa and later became a temple. It is famous worldwide as a temple that embodies the world of wabi-sabi. It is a temple with natural and subtle appearance that allows you to feel the contrast from the extravagant appearance of “Rokuonji Kinkaku” built by Ashikaga Yoshimasa's grandfather.

Hakusasonso Hashimotokansetsu Garden & Museum

A garden villa built by Hashimoto Kansetsu, a representative of modern Japanese painting from the Taisho to Showa periods. The harmonious landscape of the gardener, where his aesthetics are reflected everywhere, is just a piece of art drawn on the land. Philosopher's Path

The Philosopher's Path leads to Ginkakuji temple, and it is an area where many writers lived in the Meiji period.
