The main house on the north side consists of 6 rooms and a wooden deck that surrounds the 3 sides of the building. A 10 mats tatami room with the "Mido" (enshrinement hall) serves as the core of the main house where you can find a prestigious coffered ceiling called "Goutenjo" here.
Temple-like features can be seen here and there, such as the "kouryou" (carved rainbow beams) and "Kaerumata" (strut with legs spread like those of a frog).

The annex is located on the east side of the front yard. This "Kuri" is originally a priest's residence and temple office. Since it is connected to the main house by a corridor, you can come and go without going out to the garden. There is also a laundry space on the south porch.
