At first glance, this might look like a normal two-storey building. However, it has a unique floor plan where the 2nd floor is separated into 2 parts with individual staircases respectively. With the separated 2nd floor, you can split and divide the different rooms depending on their purpose of use.
The building has been partially demolished with the interior materials removed so you can see the state of the structural frame, columns and beams. Some of the pillars were built with the "Ishibadate" (piller standing on stone) method, a traditional construction method. In addition, its original atmosphere is preserved here and there, and some fittings and pillars might be reused.
Here we'd like to suggest a new way of living with brand new renovation plans by taking advantage of this wonderful floor plan.
