This property is located in the center of Kyoto, about a 7-minute walk from "Shijo Station" on the Subway Karasuma Line.
The Shijo-Karasuma area has prospered as a center of finance and business since ancient times, and is a major area that can be considered the heart of Kyoto.

Every July, festive music known as "Gion-bayashi" that makes a "konchinkichin" sound echoes here and there, even just walking around the city will get you excited.
Furthermore, the highlight of the festival, the grand procession of Yamaboko floats on July 17th and 24th is visited by thousands of people from local and abroad every year. Tokusayama, one of the 33 floats involved in the festival, is just about a 1-minute walk (about 60m) from the property. This is a location where you can feel and live the summer tradition of Kyoto.
