Heading north from the Gosho imperial palace in the center of the city, just past Shokokuji Temple, you will find a small shrine called Kamigoryo Shrine. The shrine has a history as the starting point of the Onin War, and you can feel a tranquil atmosphere flowing through the precinct of the shrine.

Located at a corner inside a nearby alley, we would like to introduce a Kyomachiya with a tasteful wooden fence that retains the atmosphere of the time when it was built. The house is a Kyoto-style residence with a unique traditional atmosphere that makes the best use of its elegant appearance. A property recommended for gallery or office use.

The kitchen, bathroom, and other water plumbing products have been modified in the past, but the rest of the house retains the form it had when it was built well, creating an interior space with an air of history.

From the windows on the second floor, the greenery of the trees of the Kamigoryo Shrine appears in the view.
