This time, we would like to introduce a detached house that stands in the back of a private approach.

Completely renovated in June 2022, we have upgraded the basic facilities and performance of this 60-year-old house to make it an ideal home where couples can enjoy their lives and live comfortably.

The private approach leading to the entrance is lined with plants and cobblestones, and the exterior is finished with a simple modern taste. The spacious entrance hall is capable of bicycle storage, and you may decorate the walls with paintings and art pieces.

With a floor plan of 3 rooms and a living-dining-kitchen, the first floor has a Japanese-style room together with the living-dining-kitchen and bathroom, while on the 2nd floor is a bedroom, study, walk-in closet, and a powder room. Both floors have separate toilets.

The living-dining-kitchen on the first floor with 3-sides windows allows plenty of light and wind to come in, and the wood-grained accents on the ceiling give a simple but fancy touch to the entire room.
Floor-heating system has been installed in 3 parts of the LDK to keep you warm in the cold winter. While the Japanese-style room can be used continuously with the living room, it can also be separated as a guest room by closing the door.

A pantry is set up in the back of the kitchen to store seasonings and food stocks, as well as a space for collecting trash so as to keep the kitchen neat and clean.
With the kitchen and powder room/bathroom connected, we have ensured an easy flow line for housework.


The 2nd floor is a private area for the family.
The 7-mats-sized bedroom is built with a walk-in closet of about 3.7 Tatami mats size, not only your daily wardrobe but large items such as suitcases, winter coats or seasonal appliances and items can be stored.
The study, a 3.7-mats-sized Western-style room, has been equipped with shelves all over the wall, making it a small-but-cozy private office for working from home.

Natural materials have been applied here and there, such as the "Tosa-Washi" Japanese paper used at the entrance, LDK, and the 2nd-floor bedroom where you can feel the softness and warmth, "Diatomite coating" on the wall of the Japanese-style room, and "natural solid wood" flooring materials of the LDK and the Western-style room. This is a house that would make you think of a sunny day in Scandinavia.

Not only the interior and equipment are all renewed, but the cozy atmosphere, which is difficult to express in words, and the soft and gentle air throughout the seasons, form the charm of this house.

Famous for the Gozan-no-Okuribi Festival, Matsugasaki at the foot of Mt. Myoho has long been loved as a "Beggyo" villa district of aristocrats since the Heian period. Rich nature is part of the attraction of the area.
