The house has a simple 2 Rooms + Dining-Kitchen floor plan, with a focus on the materials used to make it cozy and comfortable to live in. During the renovation work in 2016, we reused usable parts such as the window sashes that were originally there, and carefully built them up by making small modifications.

    The door said, "Feel free to come in", and when you walked in you can see an old printing press and feel the smell of ink. A letterpress and design store.

    Hiiragi Shrine

    A small shrine by a large dense tree in the middle of the residential streets.

    The shrine grounds were swept clean with a beautiful Shimenawa (a sacred festoon). It seems to be a place cherished by the neighbors.

    Old cherry blossom trees

    A large cherry blossom tree planted in the corner of Hiiragi Shrine. The thick trunk of the tree, with its large branches, showed the appearance of age.
